What can you expect from Abode Bistro Bar?
You can enjoy a hearty winter menu, Tuesday to Saturday from 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm, with a 2-course, 3-course or a 5-course degustation menu.
Start your night with an entree of Tasmanian scallops or Coffs Harbour Bonito. Savour some artichokes and truffles for mains and finish with a classic vanilla cheesecake.
Perhaps a more casual bar menu is more your style. You can select bread and dips or the ever-tasty house bread with honey butter. Feast upon some beer-battered fish and chips, or a hearty wagyu beef burger. Or snack on sweet potato fries with a delicious pint of beer or glass of wine.
For the adventurous diners, we have a Chef’s Tasting Menu, a $95 per person set menu that will elevate your taste buds to new heights—5 courses of pure delight.

About Moulin Rouge! The Musical
Moulin Rouge! The musical is based on Baz Lurhmann’s dazzling 2001 film of the same name.
The stage show premiered in Boston in July 2018. In 2021 at the 74th Tony Awards, the Moulin Rouge! won 10 awards from 14 nominations, including Best Musical.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical has been performing on Broadway since 2019, and toured America in 2020. It premiered on the West End in London, and in Australia, in 2021 and continues to perform stringy to this very day.

How to get there
If you’re coming into the city for a meal and a drink at Abode, the Town Hall train station is the closest to us. Walk down Druitt Street towards Sussex Street.
There is a bus stop just up from Abode for the 500, 502-507 busses. And there is Centro Cinema Parking or Town Hall Parking nearby as well.
After your meal, we’d recommend catching a ride to the Capitol Theatre, as it would be a long walk to get there. Abode is on Day St, near the harbour, while the Capitol Theatre is in Haymarket on Campbell Street.
